Sarah Allen's article
Summary
In Allen’s article ‘the inspired writer vs. the real writer’ Allen attempts to clarify between two different kinds of writers. Allen argues that there are writers that just right to get it done and that there are writers who actually get enjoyment out of writing all because they know just how to order it and how to make everything flow well.

Synthesize
Allen’s work is similar to Greens article where they talk about how to frame a good writing paper. I felt like both authors talked or touched on the subject of framing a paper because Allen gave the trick the one author used on all their papers and it was basically just about the way you frame it. Green does the same exact thing in his article, he talks about the whole idea of framing to be a big role in how successful a paper is.

My Thoughts
After reading the short four pages I was able to draw in a few helpful tips to use when writing a paper. One of those is you cant be scared to fail at writing because there’s a strong chance that everyone in your class is feeling the same way. Allen also gave a good tip on how to frame up your papers using the model by Bizzell which starts with a strong introduction and then gradually splinters away in to more refined information. Overall though I thought it was hard to read because of the boring tone and drawn out paragraphs, but in the end it was a good and informational article.
